IaaS Academy Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the website at rarityquiz.com. For any privacy-related enquiries, you may contact us at support@rarityquiz.com.

This Privacy Policy is provided in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What data we collect — and what we do not

🧠 Quiz answers — NOT collected or stored

We do not collect, store, transmit, or retain any of your quiz answers. The entire quiz runs locally within your web browser. Your name, eye colour, birth month, and all other responses remain on your device only and are permanently deleted when you close or refresh the page. We have no technical means of accessing them.

📧 Contact form submissions — collected with consent

When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. We retain contact form data for up to 12 months and then delete it.

The lawful basis for processing this data under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) is legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to your communication.

📊 Anonymous analytics — collected without personal data

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website in aggregate. This may include pages visited, time spent, and browser type. This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies — see Section 5 below.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) to improve our website.

💳 Payment data — handled entirely by Gumroad

If you purchase a PDF report, payment is processed by Gumroad Inc., acting as Merchant of Record. We do not receive, handle, or store your card details. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat) — used to distinguish users and throttle request rate. These expire within 2 years.
